is now mostly scuffed
away. Metal Prowse tag tacked to heel.
I really like this simple old
tailpiece. I copy it in brass for my banjo restorations that
aren't meant to be 100% authentic (i.e., "banjos with wings").
Inside of rim is inscribed in ink
"From Mrs. Rouland Jan 1919 - On Board The U.S.S. (Maxiron ?).
